biography

William Ashline has been teaching at Yonsei University since 1997 in the areas of rhetoric, composition, literature, cultural studies, and postmodernism. In addition to his published work in the areas of music, travel, and sites of memory in conflict areas, he has just recently started a new music label of mostly improvised electronic music featuring musicians in Seoul in collaboration with one another and with musicians from outside Korea. The label is called Celadon: Improvised and Electroacoustic Music from Korea.
