biography

The Straggler is the solo project of Toronto based musician and artist Kevin Lynn. As a founding member of the Guelph based band King Cobb Steelie, he toured numerous times, both nationally and internationally, and has released 5 critically acclaimed albums. Kevin also played bass with improvised noise/beat freaks Holy Fuck for several years appearing on their first two records as well as their collaboration with hip hop maverick Beans. Kevin's sound and video art work have also been screened nationally; most notably as part of the Send and Receive Festival in Winnipeg, the Signal and Noise Festival in Vancouver, and Deep Wireless: New Directions in Sound Art in Toronto. He is currently working on completing the second Straggler cd as well as the debut full-length from Meniscus Curve, a duo with vocalist Jessie Davis.
