biography

Peter Kirn is a clasically-trained composer who has extended his work to digital music and live and interactive visuals. He's the creator and editor of the daily blog/communities createdigitalmusic.com and createdigitalmotion.com, which explore use of technology in music, visuals, and performance, and has written about technology for Macworld, Keyboard, Make, and Computer Music magazines. He is a frequent collaborator with dance, has been a Digital Fellow at Dance Theater Workshop, and is currently an artist-in-residence at Brooklyn College. He is completing a PhD in music composition at the City University of New York Graduate Center.
