biography

Olga Mink is a Dutch video artist working in the fields of new media, visual performance, installation art and experimental film. With a strong emphasis to conceptual approaches, her work crosses boundaries between music, photography, architecture, poetry, nature, public spaces, and engaged themes. Creating immersive and physical representations in digital media, her work examines the tension between [intangible] media and the spatiotemporal coherence. Collaborations with musicians, artists, architects are also important aspects in creating new work. She also curates new media and audiovisual events. A new live cinema project with musician Scanner is currently presented as The nature of being. In april they will be part of the Onedotzero programme and perform at EMPAC/New York and San Diego. They also present a new work during the 2nd Bienal de Canarias within the theme of Landscape and Silence.
