biography

Minibloc is Anne-Françoise Jacques and Nicolas Dion. Minibloc uses amplification of objects and small electronic circuits as material to create live hands-on sound performances and occasional radio art pieces. Minibloc performs live often and participated in many festivals including Club Transmediale (Berlin), Mutek (Montreal), Send & Receive (Winnipeg) and Rencontres de musiques spontanées (Rimouski). Minibloc also realised a sound installation curated by Eric Mattson, presented at Centre Clark (Montreal) in fall 2009 and presented at Galerie Séquence (Chicoutimi) in spring 2010.
