biography

Miriam Clinton, aka iriXx, is a composer, performer, graphic/machinima artist, free and open source software advocate and computer systems administrator in no particular order. She studied composition at the University of Tasmania, Australia, and later travelled to The Netherlands to study composition, early music performance practise and ethnomusicology at the Utrechts Conservatorium, The Netherlands and with composer Ed de Boer (Alexander Comitas). Later she moved to the UK, studying with Dr. Silvina Milstein at Kings College London and with Katharine Norman and Nye Parry at Goldsmiths College, where she began working with electroacoustic music and worked as an Assistant Lecturer in Composition. She became somewhat notorious for co-producing the Madonna Remix Project and the resulting album
