biography

Erin Gee is a visual artist from Regina, Saskatchewan working in areas of video, performance, robotics and audio to explore the emotional context of technological culture. In addition to presenting at the Open Engagement: Art After Aesthetic Distance conference hosted at the University of Regina in 2007, her work has been shown at FilmPop! International Video Festival, Montreal (2008), Neutral Ground Gallery, Regina (2008), and Eyelevel Gallery, Halifax (2007). She earned a BMusEd from the University of Regina in 2006, and will be completing her BFA in Intermedia through the Visual Art Department at the University of Regina in 2009. She is also one of four founding members of holophon.ca, a Regina-based audio collective, website and concert series seeking to develop new and informed audiences for globally relevant sound art in Saskatchewan.
