Lalya Gaye is an engineer and PhD student in Human-Machine Interaction working as a researcher at Future Applications Lab, Viktoria Institute, in Göteborg, Sweden. Her research is prototyping-based and explores potentials of ubiquitous computing for everyday life aesthetic practices. She is a member of the PLAN network for pervasive and locative arts, is one of the co-organisers of the mobile music workshop series, and is actively involved in the NIME (New Interfaces for Musical Expression) community. Maria Håkansson is a researcher at the Future Applications Lab, Viktoria Institute, in Göteborg, Sweden. She works with mobile and ubiquitous computing, focusing on the production, consumption and distribution of digital photography and music on mobile devices. She is particularly involved in the user-centred design and evaluation process. Maria is also a PhD student in Applied IT at Göteborg University, from which she previously obtained an MA in Computational Linguistics. Sara Ljungblad is a PhD student in Human-Machine Interaction and conducts research at the Future Applications Lab, Viktoria Institute, in Göteborg, Sweden. Sara explores how marginal practices can inspire new interaction possibilities with technology, for instance how photo-practices such as Lomography can inspire the design of new digital cameras. She has a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Skövde, and a MSc in Informatics from Göteborg University. Employed by the Swedish Institute of Computer Science in Kista, Sweden, Lars Erik Holmquist is a research leader in the Mobile Life Centre at Stockholm University, and the leader of the Future Applications Lab at the Viktoria Institute in Göteborg, Sweden. His research interests include human-computer interaction, information visualization and ubiquitous computing. He was chair of the UbiComp 2002 conference and started the Mobile Music Technology workshop series in 2005.
